Putting an end to stalking

24 in ’24! Our new fundraising challenge

We are re-launching our hugely successful “24 for Alice” fundraising challenge in 2024!

Alice was just 24 when she was murdered by an ex-boyfriend after a relentless stalking campaign. We are asking you to remember Alice by entering our 24 Challenge to raise awareness and support the Alice Ruggles Trust.

We launched the #24forAlice challenge in October 2020 to enable people to achieve a personal goal during the pandemic while also supporting our vital work. It ran for 24 months and raised an incredible £22,338 in total. People could choose their own challenge, which could be just about anything provided that it involved the number 24. We had people walking, running, cycling, swimming and rowing, for 24 (or even 240!) km or miles or minutes, over 24 days, or for 24 hours continuously, while others were producing 24 podcasts or tiktoks, making 24 craft items, losing 24 lbs, and much more.

It was so successful that we’ve decided to relaunch the 24 Challenge in the year ’24! To enter the new #24forAlice challenge, all you have to do is:

    • dream up your personal 24 Challenge (it can be anything that involves the number 24);
    • set your own fundraising target;
    • register with us by completing the form below; and
    • send us £24 to complete your registration, using our donation page.

To set up a fundraising page, go to JustGiving or another platform such as GoFundMe or People’s Fundraising).

From there on it is down to you! Have fun and let us know when you have completed your challenge — we will then send you one of our magnificent medals to say thank you.

Along the way, do let us know what you are doing and whether you would like us to mention your challenge on the Trust website. And please don’t forget to tell your friends, family, work colleagues what you are up to and how to get involved.
