Please support the work of the Alice Ruggles Trust! There are lots of ways you can do this....

Fundraise

Fundraising activities and events provide lump sums which we can use for specific projects such as our information videos and social media output.

Over the past few years, fundraisers have run, cycled, swum, or walked across the country or up mountains to raise money for us, while others have organised fun days, football events, fencing events (Alice loved fencing), quiz nights, dinners and lunches.

  • A range of organisations have nominated us as their “charity of the year” and have raised funds at their events.
  • Each year we have runners in the Great North Run in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and other marathons and half-marathons.
  • And each summer a group of intrepid coast-to-coast cyclists cycle across countries—this year they are going south to north across Wales.
  • Our “24ForAlice” challenge during lockdown was our most successful fundraiser ever.

Go to our fundraising blog to see who will be out and about doing what in the coming months. Please support them if you can, or, even better…

Volunteer

Volunteers are vital to us for everything from delivering school assemblies to designing social media output.

Partner with us

Business and public sector partnerships enable us to run or participate in larger projects that would be unthinkable otherwise.

Or, of course, you could simply

donate

All donations are hugely welcome, but we are especially grateful for regular donations. These are a lifeline for us, as they enable us to do longer-term planning.
