In October 2017 Becky Rae completed the Great Scottish Run half marathon in Glasgow and raised over £1000 for the Trust.

Becky writes: "Race complete! In true Glasgow fashion it rained the entire time but I managed to finish slightly faster than I was expecting in 1hr and 59 minutes. I'm completely taken back by how much I've managed to raise but I think it just goes to show how powerful Alice's story is. I hope by doing this that I have managed to shine some light on the issues that the Trust is trying to raise awareness of to a new audience.

“This is a very personal issue for me. A few months ago I think I would have struggled to run a full mile, however after my ex Trimaan Dhillon was found guilty of murdering Alice on the 26th of April 2017, I knew that I wanted to do something to raise awareness of the dangers of controlling and coercive behaviours in relationships. Putting my energy into something positive has also really helped me to cope with my own anxiety surrounding these issues.”
