Wednesday 4 – Thursday 5 November, 2026
The annual two-day Alice Ruggles Trust conferences have been described as “the place to be” for those working in the stalking sector, bring together criminal justice, health service and third sector professionals with academic criminologists and psychologists.
This year’s is a special one, as it marks ten years since Alice was stalked and then killed by her ex-boyfriend. We will be reviewing the progress that has been made over these ten years in protecting victims and managing perpetrators, with a special focus on prevention work that will reduce the incidence of stalking in the longer term.
We have three very special keynote speakers lined up:
Professor Troy McEwan from Swinford University in Melbourne, who this year will be joining us in person
Professor Jane Monckton-Smith from the University of Gloucestershire
and Richard Wright KC, the barrister who has been leading the government’s independent review on stalking legislation
The conference will be held, as last year, at the Trent Conference Centre in Nottingham and as always will feature a range of excellent talks, workshops, and panels as well as a dinner and awards ceremony on the first evening.
An interest form will be posted shortly where you can register to be emailed booking details once they become available.
In the meantime SAVE THE DATE! and do keep an eye out here for further information.
