The UK and Ireland Blue Knights are part of a large international motorcycle club consisting of active and retired law-enforcement personnel. On May 24 they held an “Over the Wall” rally in the north-east of England. Sent on their way by Joy Allen, the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner, they toured the local countryside and castles before returning for dinner and entertainment in the Grand Hotel in Seaburn, Sunderland.
A feature of the Blue Knights’ rallies is that they are also fundraising events, and we were absolutely delighted that the England III chapter, who organised this one, chose the Alice Ruggles Trust as their charity focus.
We were even more delighted when Clive was presented at the end of the evening with a cheque for an amazing £1,500.

Thank you so much, Blue Knights, for your support. We are going to use the money your raised to help us deliver our message in person to even more schools in Northumbria, Durham, and elsewhere in the north-east.
